AxiCom lands LeftHand Networks European PR brief
August 29th 2008
LeftHand Networks, a fast-growing technology company providing innovative storage systems, has selected AxiCom Cohn & Wolfe to handle its PR programmes in the UK and The Netherlands. AxiCom will be responsible for media relations including focussed campaigns for the technology channel community, and a European analyst relations programme. AxiCom was appointed following a competitive pitch in July.
LeftHand Networks builds cost-effective, modular data storage systems that are easy to install and easy to manage. The company pioneered IP-based storage area networks (SANs) and is in a leadership position in its market, achieving 110 percent year-on-year revenue growth.
AxiCom’s brief is to help the company increase its share of voice in a highly competitive market. The PR campaign will highlight the success of LeftHand Networks solutions in the real world, delivering flexibility and a high return on investment for customers.
LeftHand Networks selected AxiCom based on its depth of experience in the enterprise computing sector and its understanding of the company’s technology, partner ecosystem and route to market.
AxiCom will report to Angus Reid, Channel Marketing Manager, EMEA who commented: “In an increasingly dynamic and competitive storage environment it’s vital we maintain a thought leadership position in the market. AxiCom stood out based on its ability to intelligently apply the substantial knowledge it has of our market.”
