Challenge:
Picis is a global provider of innovative information solutions that enable rapid and sustained delivery of clinical, financial and operational results in the acute care areas of hospitals. However hospitals in Europe are at a different stage of development to those in the north America, and a fair degree of cynicism surrounds the ability of national healthcare providers to improve performance and efficiency through the deployment of information technology. AxiCom needed to work with Picis to develop relevant positioning and communications materials
Actions:
AxiCom undertook a media audit to establish journalist and analyst perceptions of this key area of hospital activity. This led to the identification of four key messages which have underpinned all subsequent communications. AxiCom has since rolled out a European media campaign, and has worked with key influencers to develop awareness of Picis and its competitive positioning
Results:
Media coverage has been impressive, rapidly outstripping the performance of larger rivals. Furthermore the tone of coverage has been positive, paving the way for Picis to become firmly established as a key player in European healthcare during 2008
