AxiCom's consumer technology practice continues to grow with an exciting new client - Sling Media. AxiCom is handling the UK launch of the Slingbox, an amazing piece of kit that allows users to stream all their home television through the Internet to watch wherever they like - from their desktop at work, an internet cafe in Paris or a hotel room on the other side of the world. The Slingbox has been eagerly awaited by consumers in the UK following its success in the US and hits UK stores just weeks before the World Cup kicks off. Ahead of the launch, AxiCom has organised strategic analyst meetings, a host of pre-briefings for selected media and distributed review kit to the most influential UK publication editors and reviewers. Launch activities will include short lead broadcast outreach, daily media outreach and a celebratory launch party in central London.
